Starting A New Journey.

Taking A New Journey.

I have been an avid photographer for some 25 years.
Not professionally, but I immediately create clarity in who I am and what I stand for with my label,” Captured by the Light.”
My life has certainly not been a bed of roses, but it is one of the reasons why HIS Light could captivate me.
My faith has made me look at things differently.
And with my Jewish humor, I can translate sadness and pain a little milder so I can look through a slightly more colored lens. Not in the sense of taking life with a grain of salt and without facing the truth, but from a change of heart where the small and ordinary things, things I sometimes took for granted so often, now really matter much.
Captured By The Light replaced the black in my life with the colors of the rainbow.

As an experience-expert in different areas, such as illness, grief, and loss,
I started writing more. In fact, I loved doing that as a child.
But the love for photography has pushed it a bit aside for a while.

With the discovery of this website, it suddenly bubbles up to start another journey, with the use of my hands and my eyes.
Writing and photographing to show the colors of the rainbow where black has supplanted the view of beauty.
Painting with words, adding colors using photos, melting them together in a mix of honesty, topped with humor, to bring back the balance in a world where we talk about success while seeing with our own eyes that our habitat is not getting any better, but where the beautiful colors of the rainbow can help us to bring us into the right balance.
On the one hand, it reminds us how dark it gets in this world, and on the other, it brings hope and faith that the pot of gold is waiting for us at the end of the rainbow.
